Crowdfunding PR’s goal is simple. We want to make it possible for crowdfunders to shop for  crowdfunding platforms in a similar manner to the way media planners/buyers used to analyze ABC and BPA audit statements to buy advertisements in the business-to-business trade publication industry, where important media buying decisions were based on straight mathematics, not popularity or random guessing.

For example, would you rather run a crowdfunding campaign on a site where visitors are looking at 2-3 pages in around 3 minute’s time or a site where buyers are spending 6 to 11 minutes reviewing 6 to 10 pages?

This is the difference between shoppers who are visiting a site to see a particular crowdfunding campaign based on a marketing campaign versus people who are visiting a site to explore and actually shop around to find good deals to buy or invest their money.

This is why launching a campaign on Kickstarter or GoFundMe does not guarantee success. While Kickstarter, GoFundMe or Indiegogo may be the largest sites in the world, people are only spending enough time to shop through more than 2 to 3 crowdfunding profiles before they exit. While other sites like Razoo.com, DonorsChoose.org, and FundingCircle.com have visitors that stay more than 6 to 11 minutes and view 6 to 10 pages.

When researching, planning and executing successful marketing programs for both crowdfunding platforms as well as their individual crowdfunding customer profiles, it is extremely important to see what is driving the most traffic to any given crowdfunding site.  Success is usually determined not only by what site the crowdfunding campaign is being hosted on, but also the marketing programs being harnessed to drive potential donors/investors to a specific crowdfunding profile.

Clicking on each link above will allow media planners/buyers to understand what role direct traffic (content marketing), search engines (SEO, PPC Advertising), social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Quora), email marketing and display advertising (Google Display, Outbrain, AppNexus) are having on the success of crowdfunding campaigns.

For example, when planning a social media strategy, one of the most popular questions we get asked is – what social media networks are driving the most visitor traffic? Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Quora, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram? The links above will make this answer crystal clear.

Not satisfied with your position on the list? Front Page PR’s team of crowdfunding PR, social media and marketing experts can help crowdfunding sites and crowdfunding campaigns plan the perfect mix of integrated marketing programs to significantly improve the amount of website traffic being driven to any given fundraising campaign or crowdfunding platform.

Former Principal Exits VC-Darling Indiegogo to Oversee Strategy at Commercial Real Estate Platform Up-and-Comer

By Robert Hoskins

Los Angeles, CA  – Adam Chapnick believes real estate crowdfunding is on the precipice of becoming a major disrupting force in real estate investing, and chose to join AssetAvenue’s team of highly experienced real estate and technology professionals, betting big on a newcomer in one of the fastest-growing segments of the crowdfunding market.

New Equity Crowdfunding Platform Kicks Off by Closing First Deal in Manhattan’s Exclusive Trump Palace Within 48 Hours of Launch

The  former principal and employee number one with leading crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, announced that he is leaving the industry giant to join real estate crowdfunding company AssetAvenue. The company’s first completed deal raised $485,000 from investors in less than 48 hours to acquire a commercial real estate loan backed by office space in New York City’s prestigious Trump Palace.

“AssetAvenue’s disruptive vision and the team’s industry expertise are what set the company apart. The leadership team has decades of combined real estate experience, and they’re focused on breaking barriers, which is music to my ears,” said Chapnick. “When AssetAvenue CEO David Manshoory shared the scale of what he’s aiming to accomplish, I knew this was a mission I wanted to be a part of and the team I had to join. I can’t wait for the impact we’re going to make together.”

Chapnick joined Indiegogo as its first employee in 2009 and quickly helped the company grow into new markets and become one of the most successful crowdfunding platforms in the world. The company, which recently announced it raised a $40 million Series B round in January led by prominent investors Kleiner Perkins and Institutional Venture Partners, has hosted more than 200,000 campaigns to date in over 175 countries, four languages and five currencies.

Chapnick will be AssetAvenue’s chief strategy officer, bringing his expansive network and crowdfunding expertise to revolutionize the real estate investment experience for real estate sponsors, lenders and retail and institutional investors.

“We are thrilled that Adam has chosen AssetAvenue as his next home out of all the opportunities available to him,” said Manshoory. “We’re excited to couple one of the thought leaders in the crowdfunding industry with our real estate team to create an exceptional experience for our community.”

“Crowdfunding as a whole has been an incredibly revolutionary force in so many business verticals. It was thrilling to help drive this growth as the original player in the space,” added Chapnick. “Looking forward, those of us who are steeped in crowdfunding have seen real estate as the next explosive opportunity, given the sheer market size, coupled with all of its financial benefits to investors.”

Headquartered in Los Angeles, AssetAvenue is led by a management team leveraging a combined $10 billion in commercial real estate acquisitions experience. The company was founded in December 2013 by CEO David Manshoory, a seasoned real estate professional and successful entrepreneur with a track record of building rapid-growth companies.

AssetAvenue Leverages $10 Billion Track Record to Launch Premium Crowdfunding Platform, Offering Investors Unprecedented Access to A-List Commercial Real Estate Investments

New Equity Crowdfunding Platform Kicks Off by Closing First Deal in Manhattan’s Exclusive Trump Palace Within 48 Hours of Launch

By Robert Hoskins

Los Angeles, CA – Real estate crowdfunding platform AssetAvenue announced the launch of its new invest portal, providing investors with unprecedented access to pre-vetted investment opportunities with best-in-class real estate operators from across the country. The platform will allow operators to utilize new general solicitation rules enacted last fall and legalized by the bipartisan JOBS Act.

New Equity Crowdfunding Platform Kicks Off by Closing First Deal in Manhattan’s Exclusive Trump Palace Within 48 Hours of Launch

The company’s first completed deal raised $485,000 from investors in less than 48 hours to acquire a commercial real estate loan backed by office space in the prestigious Trump Palace, the tallest building in New York City’s Upper East Side neighborhood.

The AssetAvenue management team is already leveraging a combined $10 billion in real estate acquisitions experience and deep industry relationships to deliver superior deal strength, which the team sees as its advantage. “Investors care first and foremost about access to the highest quality deals,” said David Manshoory, founder and CEO of AssetAvenue, “and that’s where AssetAvenue stands out. We’re opening access to the kind of opportunities that investors used to only hear about after the biggest players had already snapped them up.”

“Closing our first deal on a property like the Trump Palace — and within 48 hours — is indicative of what we plan to bring to the industry,” said Kevin Arrabaca, president of real estate investments. “Investors in this deal are projected to earn a nine percent annual return, paid on a monthly basis, on a loan that is only 46 percent of the recently appraised property value.”

AssetAvenue’s member base offers real estate operators and sponsors a new and growing source of investor capital to help fund properties. The AssetAvenue team handles all investor distributions, communications and relations, allowing operators to interact with only one intermediary and focus on what they do best.

“Our model is simple: smart money follows great deals,” added Manshoory.

All of AssetAvenue’s pre-vetted deals allow investors to contribute as little as $10,000 per property, allowing investors to diversify their portfolio across multiple assets and earn regular cash flows.

Headquartered in Los Angeles, AssetAvenue is led by commercial real estate industry veterans with a proven track record of raising capital from high net worth and institutional investors, while generating impressive returns in real estate and business. Manshoory is a seasoned entrepreneur with a real estate track record, having previously founded an investor-backed real estate fund that acquired distressed properties in Southern California. Arrabaca has over a decade of real estate and finance experience, having underwritten over 3,000 properties across nearly every asset class while at various firms, including Colony Capital, Lehman Brothers and Houlihan Lokey.

AssetAvenue also counts among its advisors some of the most respected minds in the banking, real estate, technology and crowdfunding industries, including Dr. Richard Swart of UC Berkeley, a founding board member of the Crowdfunding Professional Association. Dr. Swart is a world-renowned crowdfunding researcher who recently authored a major white paper for the World Bank on the potential impact of crowdfunding.

“Crowdfunding has already proven itself in other industries and verticals, such as fundraising for businesses and loans, because of all the benefits it brings to both sides of the marketplace, the sponsors and the investors,” Swart said. “Crowdfunding for real estate breaks down all the traditional barriers to getting involved as an investor and allows sponsors to raise capital more efficiently. Although we are only scratching the surface of what’s possible today, I predict that real estate crowdfunding will become mainstream in the United States in the next 12 to 24 months.”
