Crowdfunding PR’s goal is simple. We want to make it possible for crowdfunders to shop for  crowdfunding platforms in a similar manner to the way media planners/buyers used to analyze ABC and BPA audit statements to buy advertisements in the business-to-business trade publication industry, where important media buying decisions were based on straight mathematics, not popularity or random guessing.

For example, would you rather run a crowdfunding campaign on a site where visitors are looking at 2-3 pages in around 3 minute’s time or a site where buyers are spending 6 to 11 minutes reviewing 6 to 10 pages?

This is the difference between shoppers who are visiting a site to see a particular crowdfunding campaign based on a marketing campaign versus people who are visiting a site to explore and actually shop around to find good deals to buy or invest their money.

This is why launching a campaign on Kickstarter or GoFundMe does not guarantee success. While GoFundMe or Kickstarter may be the largest sites in the world, people are only spending enough time to shop through more than 2 to 3 crowdfunding profiles before they exit. While other sites like Razoo.com, DonorsChoose.org, and FundingCircle.com have visitors that stay more than 6 to 11 minutes and view 6 to 10 pages.

When researching, planning and executing successful marketing programs for both crowdfunding platforms as well as their individual crowdfunding customer profiles, it is extremely important to see what is driving the most traffic to any given crowdfunding site.  Success is usually determined not only by what site the crowdfunding campaign is being hosted on, but also the marketing programs being harnessed to drive potential donors/investors to a specific crowdfunding profile.

Clicking on each link above will allow media planners/buyers to understand what role direct traffic (content marketing), search engines (SEO, PPC Advertising), social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit, Quora), email marketing and display advertising (Google Display, Outbrain, AppNexus) are having on the success of crowdfunding campaigns.

For example, when planning a social media strategy, one of the most popular questions we get asked is – what social media networks are driving the most visitor traffic? Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Quora, Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram? The links above will make this answer crystal clear.

Not satisfied with your position on the list? Front Page PR’s team of crowdfunding PR, social media and marketing experts can help crowdfunding sites and crowdfunding campaigns plan the perfect mix of integrated marketing programs to significantly improve the amount of website traffic being driven to any given fundraising campaign or crowdfunding platform.

Feel free to call (512) 627-6622 with questions or request help to improve your website statistics before June.

Crowdfundfusion.com, the first site on the Internet that sorts and groups projects from the major crowdfunding sites in one spot

By Robert Hoskins

Cool new site, www.Crowdfundfusion.com, now lets both crowdfunding campaign managers and crowdfunding platforms add their sites to this site’s aggregated crowdfunding shopping and review channels.  Their current database has the largest and most popular crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, Rockethub, Fundrazr and Fundly, which have collectively raised more than $1 Billion for successful, fully funded projects, but they are now asking every crowdfunding site to add their platform and crowdfunding campaigns to their database.

Click here to add your crowdfunding platform or click here to add your active crowdfunding campaign to Crowdfundfusion’s database.

CrowdfundFusion allows hobby investors to shop all the major crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, RocketHuba and many more using a single site.

CrowdfundFusion allows hobby investors to shop all the major crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter, Indiegogo, RocketHuba and many more using a single site.

As more and more crowdfunding platforms and portals add their crowdfunding campaigns to aggregated database, hobby investors can sort and start shopping for campaigns to support with their hard earned dollars.  One cool feature is to look up any category’s active market statistics.

So far they have more than a billion dollar’s worth of active projects under their shopping umbrella.  The amount does does not include money that was pledged to successful or failed projects that have reached their crowdfunding campaign completion date.  It is the first time in crowdfunding history one site has more than a billion dollars worth of active crowdfunding campaigns that can be perused in a single place.

Crowdfunding is becoming an Internet juggernaut, with total dollars pledged expected to easily reach over $6 Billion in 2014. With that kind of money changing hands the number of crowdfunding sites has exploded, making it impossible for Internet surfers to keep up with the thousands of projects being displayed on different sites.

Co-founders Jonathan Mushey and Lenny Leblanc from Winnipeg, Canada created Crowdfundfusion.com, where projects from the largest and most popular crowdfunding sites can now add their active crowdfunding campaigns to be updated, sorted and combined into categories, sub categories and types to give visitors simple, intuitive ways to browse and compare projects from the different sites side by side.

They also provide buttons that allow readers to sort on Starting, Trending, Ending, Completed and Wow!

“The Crowdfunding industry is reaching a point where a site like ours is necessary to assist people in wading through the thousands of new projects starting every day,” states co-founder Jonathan Mushey. Co-founder Lenny Leblanc goes further to state “Our site is the Google for Crowdfunding projects.”

CrowdFundFusion then Browse Similar Projects to Find the Ones You Like and Want to Purchase

Crowdfundfusion intends to expand the list of sites whose projects are collected, stored and displayed with several other additions being currently reviewed. Visitors to the site can have some input into the next sites to be added by submitting a site for review or by voting for ones that have already been submitted. Many tools for project creators are also offered, like the opportunity to get their project featured on the home page, tips for planning and executing a successful project and other resources to help creators deliver a quality product.

Fundly Promotes Crowdfunding-for-Good Platform to Nonprofit Technology Conference in Minneapolis

14 Apr

By Robert Hoskins

Fundly spent the weekend promoting its Crowdfunding-for-Good platform fundraising event registration features of it crowdfunding-for-good platform at the Nonprofit Technology Conference.    The new crowdfunding tools leverage fundraising, social media, and mobile applications to assist nonprofits in making their fundraising events more effective through advanced technology capabilities.

Fundly.com Crowdfunding Platform for Social Good Projects and Campaigns

Fundly.com Crowdfunding Platform for Social Good Projects and Campaigns

With thousands of nonprofit organizations, volunteer groups and individuals using Fundly’s platform for a wide range of fundraising events such as galas, dinners, marathons and other Run Walk Ride events, Fundly developed its new fundraising events application to seamlessly combine fundraising and event registration functionality into one seamless experience to make any fundraising event easier to manage and more successful.

“Think Facebook meets Eventbrite meets TeamRaiser and you’ll see why Fundly’s new fundraising events platform is so easy to use that even volunteer fundraisers who have never raised money before can succeed on their first try,” said Fundly CEO Dave Boyce.

The Fundly team that created the event fundraising platform includes the designer who built the Nike+ running app, the product manager who built Yahoo! News and the developer who built Quicken for Windows. Taking lessons learned and best practices from leading fundraisers, including Habitat for Humanity, Teach for America and Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Fundly’s new event fundraising platform is unparalleled in its ease-of-use and integration of fundraising, social media and mobile applications.

The launch customer for Fundly’s event fundraising platform is Orlando Health, a non-profit hospital network in Orlando, FL that includes Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies. When Orlando Health used Fundly for a pilot fundraising event and raised 500% of their fundraising goal, they switched all 25 of their annual fundraising events from Blackbaud’s fundraising platform to Fundly.

“Most fundraising events treat registration and fundraising as two separate activities, which results in a disjointed experience for the participant and leads to a lot of drop-off with registration levels. Fundly creates a seamless fundraising event experience that makes it easy for volunteers to fundraise using social networks, like Facebook, that they are already familiar with,” said Michael Schmidt, Director of Digital Media & Philanthropy for Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

To learn more about the Crowdfunding industry and startup local Crowdfunding community outreach programs, please join our free American Crowdfunding Center on LinkedIn.com or Meetup.com and don’t forget to follow us on Twitter. Fundly’s announcements include:

  • New event registration and ticketing features that make it faster and easier than ever for Run-Walk-Ride volunteers and organizations to launch fundraising campaigns on Fundly’s platform for their charity run, walk, bike and swim-athons, and other athletic events.
  • Teaming up with Charity Dynamics, Fundly’s newest Premier Partner, to create and launch customized, integrated crowdfunding campaigns on Fundly’s platform for the country’s top Run-Walk-Ride fundraising event programs.
  • New Run-Walk-Ride customers using Fundly’s platform, including the Cleveland Marathon, Indiana University’s “Little 500” bike race, NASCAR driver Ryan Reed ‘s “Drive to Stop Diabetes” for the American Diabetes Association, Teach for America’s Mississippi Marathon and more than 75 “Color Me Rad” 5k Runs nationwide.

“Anyone who has ever run, walked or biked for charity knows that the fundraising process can often be more painful than the physical training for the event itself, but Fundly has changed the game for athletic event fundraising,” said Dave Boyce , Fundly CEO. “Thousands of individuals, volunteer groups and nonprofit organizations are using Fundly for their Run-Walk-Ride events, and we’ll continue to enhance Fundly’s platform to make athletic event fundraising as easy, successful and enjoyable as possible to help more people give more.”

To date, Fundly has enabled more than 30,000 campaigns led by individuals, volunteer groups and nonprofit organizations of all sizes to collectively raise more than $305 million for their causes.

Fundly’s mission is to help more people give more. The largest, most widely-adopted and easiest-to-use crowdfunding-for-good platform, Fundly has enabled more than 30,000 nonprofit organizations, volunteer groups and individual fundraisers large and small to collectively raise more than $305 million and counting. Fundly is the proven fundraising solution for everyone from local PTAs, to Run-Walk-Ride events, to the world’s largest charities, including Habitat for Humanity, Teach for America and Children’s Miracle Network.
