Levitat Aerial Mats soar past Kickstarter crowdfunding goal for Triangle Hammocks for yoga or relaxing with friends and family

Levitat Aerial Mats soar past Kickstarter crowdfunding goal for Triangle Hammocks that are perfect for yoga, having a family picnic, camping or just relaxing in the backyard watching shooting stars

The Levitat team sought to make the most versatile hammock in the world, for fun, relaxation, or workouts and yoga. Levitat aerial mats are lighter than two water bottles and come stored in a handy backpack – and are easy to set up.

“It takes mere minutes for anyone to create their own personal oasis where they can play, workout, or recline in the trees and relax in nature,” said Enoc Armengol, creator and co-founder of Levitat. “We are thrilled that our concept has been met with such enthusiasm in the crowdfunding arena.”

Unlike other hammocks on the market, Levitat can safely and easily be hung between two trees and a pole using reinforced tension T-straps. Installation takes three minutes, making it perfect for catching a game, having a picnic, camping, or star gazing in the backyard. For those who prefer a roof over their head, Levitat can also be set up indoors using walls or a framed base. “We wanted to elevate the experience of hanging out and making new memories,” adds Armengol.

Levitat’s Potential Uses:

  • Outdoor or indoor fun and relaxation, whether used solo or as a multi-person hammock
  • Meditation, reading, or enjoying music – allowing users to take their mindfulness to a higher level of absolute peace and comfort
  • Yoga, offering yogis a new way to challenge themselves and focus more
  • Cross-training, which improves core strength and balance

For more information and early-bird discounts visit the Levitat Crowdfunding Campaign Page on Kickstarter: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/levitat/levitat-the-revolutionary-aerial-mat/

Levitat was created from the simple idea that a suspended mat could elevate, transform and help center a yogi’s training and life. With unparalleled focus on design and innovation, the aerial mat offers ample space, combined with breathable, weather-resistant mesh perfect for any type of activity – or to sit back and relax. The versatile 360-degree design also creates a unique new experience for the user.

By Robert Hoskins

Los Angeles, CaliforniaRentus.com, the leading online and mobile rental marketplace is launching a Crowdfunding (Reg CF) campaign on the Wefunder equity crowdfunding platform. The crowdfunding campaign allows anyone to become an investor and get in at the ground floor for as little as $100.

Investing in Rentus.com Provides an Investment Opportunity for Non-Accredited and Accredited Investors to Buy into the $60 Billion U.S. Rental Industry for as Little as a $100 Investment

Rentus.com is a website and mobile app available on Apple iOS iTunes store that allows people to shop, compare and rent anything. And users can also make extra income by renting out items they already own.

Rentus.com is targeting the enormous rental industry estimated to be $60 billion strong in the US alone.

With the crowdfunding campaign, Rentus.com is allowing potential investors to get in at the ground floor giving them the opportunity to make money off their investment as Rentus.com grows and expands.

To date, the Sharing Economy has produced very lucrative returns. For those that got in at the ground floor of Uber and Airbnb it turned $1,000 investments into $15 million for Uber and $10 million for Airbnb.

“The rental industry is old-fashioned, out-of-date and needs an upgrade, just like the taxi industry did not too long ago,” said Rentus.com’s CEO, Elias Chavando. “Rentus.com is giving it a new life by providing a technology up to create a brand new online, interactive, and accessible marketplace. Rental companies can now have online reservations and will be able to attract new customers while using our system as their back-end inventory system.”

Rentus.com is a mobile and online rental marketplace where people can rent just about anything. From tools and equipment, to party supplies and camping gear. Rentus.com is tapping into the rising trend of a sharing economy to bring the person-to-person rental industry to a user-friendly and trusted platform. For companies, already in the rental business, it provides efficient access to consumers.

“With the crowdfunding campaign, we are giving our users and crowdfunding investors an opportunity to get into the process early on as we continue to grow our business,” Chavando added. “It’s an opportunity for those that missed out on their chance to invest with Uber and Airbnb to buy into the the next wave of the sharing economy.”

Unlike traditional crowdfunding campaigns on platforms like Kickstarter and Indiegogo, regulation crowdfunding through Wefunder enables campaign supporters to purchase an equity stake in Rentus.com and share in the rewards when the company goes on to future financial success.

“Rentus.com provides us with an additional source of leads and a consolidated portal where our clients go to find what they need,” said Dan Toomey, Pro HD Rentals’ President. “Understanding our need for additional sources of revenue was very attractive and led to our decision to become a client. Understanding the huge need for a platform like Rentus.com also convinced me become an investor.”

Rentus.com is available online at Rentus.com and the Rentus.com mobile app is available for iOS on the iTunes store. To learn more about the crowdfunding campaign and to invest, please visit Wefunder.com/rentuscom

New Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign Transforms Square Lunch Box into a Cool New Compartmentalized Thermos

21 Mar

The new ICONIQ Qore lunch  box combines vacuum insulation with a modular design without the need for refrigeration or reheating

Irvine, California – ICONIQ Bottle has announced the release of their latest project, an all-in-one food container that aims to replace the traditional lunchbox. Full details of the food container, titled the ICONIQ Qore, were revealed on the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform, where it is currently available for pre-order.

The new ICONIQ Qore lunch box combines vacuum insulation with a modular design without the need for refrigeration or reheating

The new ICONIQ Qore lunch box combines vacuum insulation with a modular design without the need for refrigeration or reheating

The product of two years of ideation and development, its features include:

  • Double wall stainless steel vacuum insulation to keep cold foods cold and hot foods hot.
  • Unique stacking food container segments, allowing you to pack multiple dishes together.
  • A stainless steel fold-out spork stored in the base of the container eliminating the need for loose or disposable eating utensils.
  • High-grade stainless steel materials that are re-usable, 100% BPA free, and easy-to-clean.

Also in the works is a stackable insulated water bottle segment that combines with the food container into one portable unit.

“The combination of vacuum insulation with a modular design is the real game changer,” says co-founder Shane Jones. “It opens up tons of new food options, all without the need for refrigeration or reheating. Pack a bowl of hot chicken noodle soup served with a side salad. Or a Greek yogurt served with a chopped fruit medley. The possibilities are endless.”

In building a more sensible, easy-to-use lunchbox ICONIQ hopes to steer consumers away from more traditional takeout or packaged food options, which they claim are often highly processed and unhealthy.

“Most schoolchildren don’t have access to a refrigerator or microwave. The same goes for many professionals working outdoors or on the road,” says lead designer Richard Chritz. “The ICONIQ Qore will allow everyone to enjoy fresh home cooked meals instead of the typical processed or packaged foods found in most packed lunches.”

The ICONIQ Qore Food Container is currently in is the final stages of development and is scheduled for release in June 2017. It will come in multiple colors and variations with prices ranging from $18-$29.

Did you eat, drink, shower and sleep in a bed last night? Millions of Syrian parents/kids did not. Will you help them?

6 Oct

Please help Kickstarter raise money to support the Syrian War Refugees who didn’t do anything to deserve to lose their beds, homes, schools or their life

By Robert Hoskins

Click here to make a tax deductible Kickstarter donation to Syrian Refugee Camps – Millions of refugees didn’t eat at all last night, don’t have any fresh water to drink, haven’t showered in weeks, and slept with their families on the hard ground or sidewalk with no covers/no pillows and are waiting for somebody, somewhere to help them escape their desperate situation.

Regardless of who they are or where they come from, no human being deserves to live like this. Are you willing to help them?

If 1 out of every 500 people in the top 20 countries worldwide donated $100, it would generate more than $1 billion dollars worth of aid to people who literally have no hope that tomorrow might have even the smallest glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

In the last 24 hours, if you have enjoyed a warm meal, drank a cup of fresh water from your kitchen sink, took a hot shower, or slept a comfortable bed last night, please take a minute to think what it would be like for someone to take all this away from you overnight and force you to flee your home and country with nothing more than you could carry on your back.

You may not want to donate any money to the UN Refugee Agency Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign, but there is no excuse for not doing your part to help raise the awareness for these unfortunate people with very little hope for a better tomorrow and at least try to make a difference.

What if it was was your sons, daughters or grandchildren or YOU in these pictures? Would you think it was kind if someone walked up and handed you $20 bucks and said, please enjoy a hot meal on me, its the least that I can do to make a difference.

They might not be able to pay you back, but I bet their smile would be a worth a million bucks and a gold star in heaven.

Just in Time for Spring BBQs – the GoBQ grill is the Perfect Portable Solution for the Football Tailgating Crowd

13 Apr

The GoBQ Grill is the coolest way to cook a hot meal at the game partying with friends and then put it safely away before the first kickoff

By Robert Hoskins

Chicago, IL – Grilling enthusiasts across the globe are gobbling up a good opportunity to buy a GoBQ Grill during April. Right now outdoor adventurers can get a hot deal on a cool way to grill food at tailgating parties as well as other types of remote grilling opportunities such as hikes, trips to the beach and remote backpacking trips. Apparently the portable grill is serving a big appetite. In less that two weeks, their Indiegogo campaign  has raised more than 120% of their $30,000 goal with 196 backers from over 19 countries worldwide.

The GoBQ Grill is the coolest way to cook a hot meal

The GoBQ Grill is the coolest way to cook a hot meal and pack it away safely before the 1st kickoff!

The Indiegogo campaign can be found here:http://www.IndieGoBQ.com.

I guess that means it’s time to buy a grill and get ready to start cooking outdoors, but now grillers won’t have to be confined to their backyards or tethered to their SUVs.

Weighing in at only eight pounds, the patented GoBQ is a revolutionary grilling system complete with a metal grate cooking surface large enough to feed a family, chain basket to hold charcoal, and lid to contain heat.

But unlike other grills on the market, all GoBQ components fold in on themselves to become a black cylinder that resembles a small, sleek duffel bag. Take it with you camping, tailgating, picnicking, biking, boating or fishing, and people everywhere will ask, “Wait, that’s a grill?”

“What makes the GoBQ unique is you can sling it over your shoulder or stuff it in a backpack,” says co-founder and product chief Eric Goeken, who invented the GoBQ and built its early prototypes in his own garage.

After only five days on the market, critics are already weighing in on the ingenuity of the GoBQ. “Imagine a lightweight portable charcoal grill with nearly 200 square inches of cooking surface that fold up into a tiny little package,” says barbecue and grilling expert Derrick Riches of bbq.about.com. The GoBQ “could revolutionize the portable charcoal grill forever.”

The body of the GoBQ is made of a silicon-coated fiberglass material that can withstand flames and high temperatures. The fabric base, nickel-plated metal grate and charcoal basket all fold up to fit neatly inside the grill’s fabric lid, which also folds together to become its own compact carrying bag. Set up and tear down are a breeze, as the GoBQ body cools to the touch soon after dumping the charcoal embers—unlike other metal grills, which can take forever to cool down.

“The GoBQ is a game changer,” says company co-founder and CEO Todd Zaroban. “Those other so-called portable grills are either too cumbersome to carry or too flimsy to properly cook anything. We believe it will change the way people think about outdoor cooking.”

GoBQ is targeted to ship in August of this year, just in time for college and NFL football tailgating season.

The GoBQ Grill is a portable, packable grill made of heat and flameproof fabric that folds up like a camping chair to fit in a backpack or store in a drawer.  The GoBQ is the patented brainchild of start-up company Grillfold LLC and its founders—product design and engineering guru Eric Goeken, and Todd Zaroban, a successful entrepreneur with 25 years of marketing, branding and web development experience.

New Rewards-Based Crowdfunding Site Showcases Plans to Serve Niche Market of American Veterans, Service Members, Law Enforcement and Outdoor Products and Services Vendors

12 Jul

The donation- and reward-based crowdfunding site caters to those that protect and serve the red, white and blue and funding community projects

 By Robert Hoskins

Heber City, Utah – TwistRate announced that the crowdfunding platform officially launched and is positioned to serve veterans, service members, law enforcement personnel, outdoor enthusiasts, and the extreme sports, fishing and hunting communities a dedicated place to come together online to fund the ideas, passions and dreams of their communities.

FrogFuel Protein by Frog Performance Launches Crowdfunding Campaign on TwistRate

FrogFuel Protein by Frog Performance Launches Crowdfunding Campaign on TwistRate

The donation- and reward-based crowdfunding site is truly unique, as it not only caters to those that protect and serve the red, white and blue, but brings communities together to fund passion projects and provides all of the tools for campaigners to accomplish their goals. TwistRate goes above and beyond typical fundraising sites’ services to offer intellectual property protections services, business plan writing, and full-service video productions and editing services, the cost of which can even be financed into approved campaigns.

Crowdfunding initiatives are expected to reach $93 billion in funds raised by 2025, with numerous platforms emerging to fill the needs of specific communities that often best understand the value their inventions are bringing to the market. TwistRate’s founders were inspired to create the platform particularly for veterans, who continue to suffer from higher unemployment rates than the general population, a figure expected to increase as more soldiers return home. TwistRate also helps those entrepreneurs and small business owners, who many traditional financial institutions have left behind, connect directly with their potential customers to raise funds.

Designed by Special Forces veterans to be “part social, part finance and all American,” TwistRate makes American dreams come true by connecting the dreamers with the dollars.

“What drew me to TwistRate was that it brought together the people who would actually understand and use my invention,” says Jeff Byers of Frog Fuel. “As a SEAL, I know how important teamwork is, and now, as an inventor, I’m getting the tools and resources I need to succeed, in a safe and secure environment, full of fellow vets and entrepreneurs. No big company would ever do this.”

“TwistRate’s goal is to make achieving the American Dream possible again,” says CEO Evan Hafer. “In the service and in my personal life, I have seen so many amazing inventors who produce innovations that will truly benefit their communities. It is time for these entrepreneurs to have an easy and secure way to connect with like-minded professionals who can help them create, launch, market and distribute their dreams.”

The site currently features campaigns from former SEALs, Marines and police officers, focusing on obstacle course-style races, performance and camping products, nonprofit organizations and more.

Headquartered in Utah, TwistRate was founded by Jeff Kirkham, who served for 27 years with the U.S. Army Special Forces, and Evan Hafer, who spent 14 years of his career serving as an infantryman and as a Green Beret Special Forces solider. Both of these men are inventors, athletes, entrepreneurs, teachers and avid outdoorsmen.

“We just wanted to create a special place for our community that gives its all, protecting and serving its country, its cities, its neighbors and its men and women in uniform,” says Kirkham. “TwistRate brings communities together to fund their own, build their own and make their own — all on their own. It is the American dream in action.”

Inteliscope Takes Aim with Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign to Fund First Tactical Rifle Adapter for Smartphone Targeting System

14 Jun

Now Hunters and Military Troops Can Use  SmartPhones such as Android or iPhone to Target and Record the Hunt of a Lifetime in the Woods or Real Life Conditions on the Battlefield

By Robert Hoskins

Newly formed company Inteliscope, LLC recently announced the launch of its Inteliscope Tactical Rifle Adapter and Apple device application – the world’s first tactical rifle adapter for smartphones. The iPhone application is being submitted to Apple for review and approval. As the state agency responsible for promoting exciting news for Idaho businesses, Idaho Commerce was thrilled to have a chance to speak with the company about their product.

Inteliscope, LLC Creates First Tactical Rifle Adapter for Smartphones

Inteliscope, LLC Creates Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign to Raise Funds to Create World’s First Tactical Rifle Adapter for Smartphones

Inteliscope, LLC was founded earlier this year in Sandpoint by Jason Giddings, who also established TransluSense, LLC – creator of the Luminae® glass multi-touch keyboard and touchpad. With production facilities in place and TransluSense development continuing, Giddings challenged his mechanical, software and business teams to create the Inteliscope device on an aggressive ten-week schedule.

“We’re ready to get started with what we came to Idaho to do: hire good employees and help the economy of North Idaho,” Giddings said.

Inteliscope products are made up of two parts: a tactical rail mount for an iPhone or iPod and an app that brings critical ballistics and environmental insight to the shooter in real time. For the launch, the company decided to include all three cases in a single product for Apple devices instead of offering three separate products. Thus, when the customer receives the adapter, it will have cases to fit the iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5, and iPod Touch version 5. The Inteliscope mount system attaches an iPhone or iPod Touch securely to any firearm with a Picatinny (Mil-STD-1913) or Weaver tactical rail, which includes a number of features.

The company also is working with Indiegogo, a crowd-funding platform (similar to Kickstarter), to fund development of the app and hardware for Android phones. If Inteliscope’s campaign is funded, the company plans to have the Android-compatible devices available in August.

A Year Later the PowerPot Demonstrates the Power of Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaigns

21 Mar

By Robert Hoskins

Power Practical, a Utah-based company, has developed a game-changer for backpackers, campers and environmental preparedness enthusiasts alike. The innovative product, called The PowerPot, transforms heat into DC electricity. The new twist on a lightweight backpacking pot will provide electricity where solar options do not: at night, during storms and indoors.

The PowerPot was introduced last Spring on Kickstarter, a popular crowdfunding platform. The product’s 30-day campaign smashed it’s funding goal of $50,000 and went on to earn six-figures. Riley Swenson, the company’s VP of marketing said the company is in a very different a year later. “The PowerPot was a mysterious idea that gained a lot of traction last year on Kickstarter. This season, it is an established product, with numerous independent reviews, retail-store availability, and is proudly owned by more than 2,000 happy customers in 40+ countries.”

The genius of the PowerPot is that it charges any USB device. The personal USB device market is literally exploding. From portable lighting to smartphones to ham radios, there seems to be a new USB-charged device everyday of the week. This makes the PowerPot attractive to people going on long-term adventures with a rechargeable gear-set. In some cases it can replace several pounds of batteries.

The device also has vast potential in developing nations. “There are over 200 million people in Africa that use cell phones but lack access to electricity. Some must walk over a mile and spend over 15% of their monthly income just to charge their phone,” said Power Practical VP of Sales Caleb Light. “It is difficult to keep in touch with loved ones or do business off-grid. Since most people faced with this problem cook on an open fire, the PowerPot fits perfectly into their routine.”

Power Practical says it was able to donate roughly 100 units of its innovative PowerPot to NGOs working in developing countries. The units have been donated to groups working in Ghana, Uganda and other locations in Sub-Saharan Africa. The company hopes to expand its humanitarian operations into the subcontinent of India, southeast Asia and elsewhere.

Power Practical is a Salt Lake City-based group of 8 engineers, entrepreneurs and outdoor enthusiasts who emphasize diversity in energy resources by developing innovative, effective and affordable energy products. While the grid that supplies electricity to most of the World is generally reliable, everyone experiences the occasional power outage and there are vast areas of the World that are simply off the grid. The problems posed by imperfect and/or unavailable energy resources are what drive Power Practical’s research and development.
